Our Alice in Wonderland pop-up bar is officially in full swing, and the next date lands TONIGHT Monday, February 9th—the perfect excuse for a Galentine’s night out in Salt Lake City. Expect whimsical cocktails, playful theatrics, and a setting that feels delightfully unhinged (in the best way). We have just a few tables left—so book before the Queen can ask, “Who stole the tarts?”

Valentine’s Day at Lake Effect is all about indulgence, intention, and good company. We’ll be serving a thoughtfully crafted four-course Valentine’s dinner designed for lovers of all kinds—romantic, platonic, and everything in between—paired with drink specials you just might fall in love with more than your date.
It’s an evening meant to be savored, unrushed, and shared. Reservations are strongly encouraged, and tables are already filling quickly.
Every Thursday from 10pm–1am, we gather upstairs in Church for Communion—Salt Lake City’s favorite way to kick off the weekend. Expect a rotating lineup of live DJs delivering genre-spanning “sermons,” from techno and house to drum and bass and everything in between. The lights are low, the energy is high, and the room moves as one. It’s a dance floor with a sense of ceremony, a club night that feels a little elevated, and a space unlike anything else in Salt Lake. Come as you are. Leave changed.
